WHERE, WHAT & WHEN:

Most of our guide trips take place on the Middle Yough where we will row one or two fly or spin anglers (max of two anglers per boat) down river in pursuit of trout and smallmouth bass. (Our guides row Clackacraft drift boats.) A typical day on the river with us entails a 7 am meet in Ohiopyle where we will leave your vehicle. From there we will travel upriver to our put-in point just shy of Confluence, drop the boat in, and spend the day on the river, stopping to have lunch and fish favorite spots. In the afternoon or early evening we will arrive back at your vehicle and you will be on your way.

Though we spend most of our time on the river, we do guide wade trips on area tributaries for stocked and wild trout. We are more than willing to tailor the day to your liking if you’d prefer to spend your day afoot—please ask.

 

OVERNIGHT LODGING:

The early start is worth it . You may want to arive the night before and get more sleep.
